The cool Banana Boat dessert remains popular at local ice cream stands, restaurants and Ice Cream Trucks more than 100 years after its introduction. Our Banana boat or split is always made from fresh bananas. Everyday we buy fresh bananas from the grocery store, we peel, cut and place it underneath three scoops of our high quality Ice Cream, typically vanilla. We then put strawberry, chocolate and pineapple toppings (you may substitute a topping for butterscotch) on top of the Ice Cream to create the signature Banana Boat.
